My practice began with painting, a medium that still influences my work, no matter where that takes me. During Isolation, I found myself returning to painting as therapy and felt it was only fair that I provide to painting, what It gave to me. I created tools from my immediate surroundings as an extension of my own body, tools that required intimacy with the canvas. These natural materials made a more personal connection with the painting process, making me crawl over the paint, and sweep my tools over the surface. Each at different points on the canvas, with a unique footprint from its neighbouring element.
